The Hall family began in the transportation industry in 1947 when John T. Hall transported livestock and farm products around South Western Ontario. In 1959, he was joined by the second generation, Robert E. Hall and expanded into the transportation of aggregate products throughout South Western Ontario. In 1969, the business expanded again by adding dry vans. In 1982, the third generation, Jeff Hall, joined his Father and together they continued to expand through the 80's and 90's specializing in LTL and high value products across Canada. In the early 90's, with 20 power unit's and 30 trailers, brother Andy and sister Lynn joined the team and they went on to build their first branch terminal in Vancouver, BC in 1994. Five years later they added a similar structure in Calgary, AB and in January 2006, the newest branch terminal opened it's doors in Edmonton, AB. J & R Hall has continually grown and adapted to the ever evolving, competitive environment of the trucking industry. Today, with 69 tractors and 145 trailers, it proudly proclaims its focus on high quality customer service and great people. As they say, “You deserve it.
